Key Activities

International Collaboration

Conexus engages with the IAEA, including its Nuclear Safety Standards Committee (NUSSC), and participates in Washington’s Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) Industry Group Coordination meetings.

Support for the CNO Forum

NSEA provides operational support to the Chief Nuclear Officer Forum (CNOF). 

Working with the Regulator

NSEA teams interact with the CNSC to clarify regulatory expectations and resolve safety/licensing issues, often collaborating with other organizations such as the Canadian Nuclear Association and Canadian Standards Association, and potentially impacting international regulations.
